I started this business as I felt that there was a gap in the market for an agency in Southampton that really cared .
18 months on we have grown and I do believe we have the makings of an excellent agency and team 
I could not do this job without the team around me and for that I am very grateful. 
We have achieved a lot in a short time , the company has grown , and I love doing my share of hands on care and also visiting our customers , it is for them that we do this .

I have 38 years of experience working in admin, the first half of my career was spent working for the court service.  Following a  career break for a few years, I  took time out to care for my young children  and returned to work in a care home firstly as a chef following  my love of cooking.  After 6 years of working in the kitchen I stayed in care but returned to working in the admin side of things in a few different care homes. I have worked for Christie Care since November 2021 and am now enjoying the challenge and striving  to grow the business and provide the best care and service possible along with my amazing team.

Hi i'm Steph, i found Christie Care by passing the office when it was first opening and i was drawn in by the bright exterior. I'd never done care before but now i can't imagine doing anything else now. I have now been promoted to co-ordinator and love working at Christie Care. 

I'm Christie - namesake of Christie Care. I started my career in residential care, before moving into private care involving patients with muscular dystrophy and intensive needs. I moved into the financial sector for 7 years , giving me a broad knowledge of commercial and business finance before becoming the Finance, HR and Compliance Director at Christie Care. When I’m not buried in numbers I enjoy a good swim, a nice meal out or travelling the world.

My name is  Amanda I am married with 3 children and have been working as a carer for over 10 years, it’s a profession I enjoy as it provides me with a lot of satisfaction, and a chance to make a positive impact in my community.

I am happy to go the extra mile for anyone that needs help, if I can bring a little bit of happiness and sunshine to those in need, then that makes my day.

Hi my name is Suzie 
I'm new to being a carer in the community I have joined the team recently and I'm so glad I did push myself to going back to work  and joining a wonderful team that help and care for each other and there clients to like a family.
In my free time I love spending time with my children and family and making memories because life to short and we got to enjoy life to the max. Before I joined the team I was a full time mum and a carer to my son which I still am but I want to give back and help others and learn new skills and challenge myself.

Hey i'm Reah. This is my first experience with working within

opportunity with Christie Care! I honestly can say that I love my job and  i can't imagine doing anything else! I love our amazing clients and the team I work along side with are amazing and supportive. 

In my free time I love spending time with my family and making lots of memories, my family are my world & I work hard to give them everything. I also love football (Chelsea Football Club!) I’m also a big Disney fan and love food ha ha. I’m a very bubbly and outgoing person & wear my heart on my sleeve! 

Hi I'm Kim,  I've been working for Christie care for around 6 months now and I love it,  I used to work in a day centre for adults with disabilities and I loved that too, within Christie care I work with a lovely team of people. 
My hobbies out of work include playing my guitar, photography, walking my two rottweilers and tattoos, I will forever be the girl that loves a pretty sky. 

Hi ya my name is Leanne and I have recently joined Christie Care.  I am a caring compassionate person who really takes deep pleasure in making a difference to peoples lives!!  To care for people that are in need is a very rewarding job to have.

When I’m not helping others I love spending time with my children, husband and family.  I enjoy walking my dogs and doing  D.I.Y as I love being creative I’m also handy with a paint brush!!!!

An experienced carer in all areas since 2009.
I cared for my dad who had dementia/alzheimer's at home until he passed away .Now I work as a live in carer , with people with learning disabilities and the elderly. I think it is important that people can be cared for in their own homes and also to provide peace of mind to families.

I’ve done care work before and came back as a bank carer as I just love helping clients and families. Bringing a smile to people is a feeling I enjoy. I have a lot of experience in admin and currently working as a receptionist for NHS homeless health care team but wanted to still see the Clients I have built up a rappor with over the last few months whilst waiting to start with the NHS 

I’m very empathetic to vast range of situations and people and love listening to peoples stories. In my spare time I love creating personalised gifts and can always find me in my craft room making things. I love travelling to new places and just creating memories

Hey! My name is Keeley and I have been working in care for 5 years. I spent the majority of this time working for the NHS in a hospital setting. I wanted to change my perspective on care, so I found Christie Care and it has given me the opportunity to support people within their own homes. 
When I’m not working I spend a lot of my time volunteering with GirlGuiding or spending time with family. 

Hi my name is Eileen 
This is my first experience working as a Carer. I have worked for Christiecare now for almost a year and I love it!
Visiting Clients in their homes and helping them in any way that I can. Everyone is an individual with different needs.
I did retire from my job working as an Inspector in a Contact Lens Manufacturer’s, but I got bored with too much spare time on my hands.  I saw Christiecare advert for Carers and decided to apply. I am very happy in my work as I am now a Carer and I care a lot!

Hi i am Ulle, i have been working as a carer since 2009. I joined Christie Care from this August 2022. I love to work with elderly people in their own homes, make them smile, comfy and comfy as much as i can.

Hey I'm Rachel! 
I have worked with Christie Care since June 2022 and I absolutely love my job, our team and the people we support.

I previously worked in residential lettings & property management but decided I wanted to follow a different path in March 2022 following my maternity leave with my daughter and I'm so glad I did! 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, playing music (I dabble in piano, violin, cello and flugelhorn), reading and experiencing new things!

I'm Lucy, I've recently joined Christie Care. I've always wanted to work in the care industry, after caring for my son I decided I wanted to come back to work as a carer. Being part of a lovely team and seeing our amazing clients and helping them gives a lovely sense of achievement.
 
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and rewatching our favourite Netflix show Stranger Things. I love to craft, draw and read.
